About UTB

We Built the Institution
the Industry Was Missing.

Incorporated February 2026. Built from the ground up for pharma and biotech professionals — not adapted from a traditional university model.

Founding Story

How UTB Came to Be

UTB was incorporated in February 2026 as a Delaware nonprofit corporation — not born out of a legacy institution's expansion, but built from the ground up to solve a single, urgent problem in the pharmaceutical industry.

"The pharmaceutical industry is growing faster than its workforce, and traditional education is too slow, too expensive, and too disconnected from real industry needs."

Founded by Ramesh Reddy Putheti (President & CEO) and a seven-member Board of Directors, UTB was designed with one objective: to train the pharmaceutical workforce that the industry actually needs, with the speed, specificity, and accessibility that traditional universities cannot provide.

The 4i Model — Industry First, Integrated Learning, Innovation at the Core, and Institution Built for You — is not a marketing tagline. It is the architectural framework every program, every policy, and every hiring decision is built around.

The Problem We're Solving

Process engineering shortfalls are directly limiting scale-up capacity across the entire US biopharma sector at a critical moment of expansion.

$370B
Committed to US Biomanufacturing

Say Urgent Training Is Needed

Of advanced therapy experts say urgent, specialized training is needed NOW — not in two to four years when a traditional degree would be completed.

2–4yr
Traditional Degree Timeline

$50,000–$150,000. Outdated curriculum. Fixed schedules. The traditional university model was not designed for the pharma workforce crisis of 2026.

Our Philosophy

The 4i Institution

Four principles that define every decision UTB makes — from curriculum design to admissions to pricing.

I
Industry First

Every curriculum is co-developed with active practitioners — not adapted from academic research. If industry doesn't need it, we don't teach it. If industry urgently needs it, we build it first.

I
Integrated Learning

Theory and practice are woven together in every module. UTB graduates are ready from day one — not after a 6-month ramp-up period to learn what the industry actually looks like.

I
Innovation at the Core

AI, digital health, and advanced therapeutics are not electives — they are built into every program. UTB graduates understand where the industry is going, not just where it has been.

I
Institution Built for You

Seven Values. One Standard.

These are not aspirational statements. They are operational principles that govern how UTB builds curriculum, hires faculty, and serves students.

01
Innovation Without Limits

02
Human Touch

Technology enables — people transform. Every student interaction is designed to be personal, responsive, and genuinely helpful.

03
Industry-Integrated

The pharmaceutical industry is our partner, not our audience. We build with the industry, not just for it.

04
Transformative Access

$199 per credit. Rolling admissions. Online delivery. World-class pharma education accessible to every qualified professional regardless of geography or income.

05
Integrity Without Compromise

Academic rigor, ethical conduct, and full transparency in everything from accreditation status to refund policies.

06
Global Community

Pharma is a global industry. UTB is a global institution — with students, faculty, and partners across every major market.

07
Excellence as a Standard

Not as a marketing claim. Excellence is the floor, not the ceiling — in curriculum quality, student outcomes, and institutional governance.
